Competition Terms

Terms and conditions for entry into our review competitions.


  • No purchase necessary - all competition conditions start with this one, and it's true in this case too.
  • Open to all except those involved in the administration of the competition, employees, agents or family members of Forgecom.
  • One entry, per review, per game posted on the site.
  • Please only do reviews based on games which are unrated or 3+, no games reviews of games 7+ or above will be considered.
  • Monthly competition closes at 23.59 on the last day of each month. First draw will be end of September 2009
  • The winner will be chosen at random from entries received in the month.
  • Reviews may be used on this site, or  in promotional activity/materials – and the winner(s) will NOT be required to participate in promotional activity related to this competition. Unless they wish to post on other sites that they won.
  • The judges decision is final and NO CORRESPONDENCE will be entered into.
  • This competition is promoted by Forgecom Ltd.
  • Entry to this competition is deemed as FULL ACCEPTANCE of these Terms & Conditions of entry.
  • Forgecom reserve the right to substitute the value of the gift token in Sterling to another currency at the request of the winner.  Current token value £25.00
  • The winner(s) will be contacted by email to notify of their win and asked to tell us from which Amazon website they would like their gift token.  Gift tokens can only be used on the Amazon site purchased (see amazon UK terms) therefore you will need to respond before your token will be purchased. Important -  you will have 21 days to respond to our email otherwise another winner will be chosen.  The gift token itself does not have any expiry date and can be used in part payment for any of the items on your chosen Amazon site.
  • The review of each winner will be posted on the site. Please note it is not the content of the review which won, but just a way of telling you that it was an actual user.  You will know who you are if you win.  We don't think you will want your email address posted but if you do let us know and we will happily display that instead.
  • Email addresses collected will not be shared with any third party.  We may however from time to time, very occasionally contact you by email.  It is however in your interests to put a valid email in because if you win we will need to contact you!
