What games can my 4, 5 or 6 year old play ?

Ok, so you have bought them an expensive games console and now they want games.  How can you tell which games will be suitable for your 4 year old, 5 year old, or 6 year old?.  Many games seem to be aimed at the older kids.   This site aims to help decide which games your younger children can play, so you can save money and not waste it buying games they MUST have but cannot play.

We are in the process of adding game reviews from the perspective of this age group,  contributions are welcome.

You may be lucky and have an older sibling who can help, but do you really want to learn how to play these games for your child?  Do you want to spend hours on the internet reading game walkthroughs and looking for cheat codes so that your son or daughter, grand-child or grandchildren can get access to that much needed tool, puppy, accessory, gizmo, light saber or whatever?

We have been through this and made costly mistakes, so, we have started this site to help parents, and grandparents, extended family wisely choose the games which will be suitable for their young ones to play. 

But the games already have a 3+ rating so that must be ok for my 4 year old? - well no.  It only means that the content is suitable for viewing by a 3 year old or older, it does not make any allowance for playability.  How many 3 years can read?  We are concentrating on games which have no rating or 3+ rating only,  you will not find any 7+ games rated here.
